About This Set
The foundation of the set is a second octave F fundamental Highwall, and the set builds up a scale of fifths and ending in a pure, shimmering B fundamental. At the A in this system, the set drops back to the third octave. This allows the set to complete on a fourth octave B, as fifth octave B's are not commonly available.
As most of the bowls in this set are outside the bell curve of common sizes, the set still requires the third octave C, or Tantien tone (second in sequence). The C-6 mid-tone of the Highwall can be isolated for this purpose, or you can add the tone in a standalone antique, or contemporary, Highwall bowl when one becomes available.
