This is an authentic antique Master-quality^®, 3 piece Tibetan singing bowl triad matched on the fifth octave. This set includes one each of the following singing bowls:

* D -8 Hz., Flat Bowl 5 5/8″ diameter, XX-Thick, circa 17th Century

* A -8 Hz., Special 4 1/2″ diameter, XX-Thick, circa 20th Century

* B -10 Hz. Trapezoidal 4″ diameter, XX-Thick, circa 18th Century

NOTE: This fifth octave triad is comprised of three rare bowls: a circa 17th century flat bowl, a circa 18th century Trapezoidal bowl, and a very unique, circa 20th century bowl with a tapered base. Similary to a Chalice bowl without the stand, it is the only one we’ve found in 22 years.

About the Sound Sample

First you will hear each bowl struck on the upper outside wall with the Himalayan hardwood wool-padded mallet. Next you will hear each fundamental tone being played around the upper outside wall with either the leather end of the 30mm leather-padded mallet or the Xcelite 99-1 handle.

Package includes:

* Certificate of Authenticity  (Printed on parchment paper, hand-signed by Shakti).

* 3-piece Professional Mallet Set  (a Himalayan hardwood Tibetan wool-padded mallet, a 30mm Himalayan hardwood leather-padded mallet and a 99-1 Xcelite handle).

* Tips and Information Brochure   (Historical information, general metallurgical analysis, how to hold the mallet, playing around the rim, and advanced techniques).

* Also included is a photo, Mp3 digital recording, and a Set Chart listing the tones of each singing bowl.

Tibetan silk-brocade singing bowl cushions are optionally available at a nominal extra charge. Available in Tibetan red, Royal blue, and/or Plum.
