The rim tones for each bowl are the following: B +4 Hz., G +10 Hz., C# +2 Hz., G# +4 Hz., D +6 Hz., and A# -6 Hz. The Tantric and Special bowls, typical of thicker, smaller bowls, have a single tone.
About the sound sample: First you hear each the High Walls struck with either the medium wool-padded gong mallet or the large-knitted gong mallet. Each bowl after the High-Walls are struck with a 30mm wool-padded mallet. Next you’ll hear the fundamental tone of each bowl played with either the 40mm leather-padded “Fat-Boy” mallet or the 30mm leather-padded mallet.
