Lastly, you’ll hear the fundamental tone played with the leather end of the same 30mm leather-padded mallet.
Bowl Type: “Pedestal”
A type of relatively rare singing bowl that has a raised ring attached (usually soldered) to the outside bottom of the bowl. This ring is useful as a grip when the bowl is used in sound healing applications as the bowl can be waved around various parts of the patient’s body more easily. Stylistically, a comparison can be made to the porcelain chalice cups used by the Tibetan nobility, although these have a longer stem.
- 2-Piece Professional Mallet Playing Set (a 30mm Himalayan hardwood wool-padded and 30mm leather-padded mallet).
