Tibetan Bodhi Seed Malas

We create hand-crafted Tibetan Bodhi Seed malas (Tibetan prayer beads) from the seeds of the Bodhi Tree, the same type of tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment.

Our Commitment to Quality

We handmake these malas from the finest components available. In Nepal, we source the smoothest quality Bodhi seed beads on the market and hand-select the 925 silver and/or gold vermeil spacers, 925 silver Ghanta & Dorje counters, silver mala clips, Gao boxes and pendants. Then we take them to be hand-strung by a third-generation family of mala makers at Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. They are strung on sturdy, braided nylon thread to create one-of-a-kind meditation tools to last a lifetime!

Designed with Reverence for Tradition

Each mala is based on the traditional Tibetan Buddhist design, but we also create some with a variety of semi-precious stones to add a contemporary feel to the traditional Tibetan palette of turquoise and coral. We scrupulously inspect each mala to ensure it conforms with traditional specifications.

Meditation Companion

Use our malas as a meditation tool to enhance your practice and deepen your connection to the Dharma. They provide a tactile focus tool and assist with concentration practice during your meditations.
