About the Sound Sample

You will hear the gong being played with a medium wool-padded gong mallet, struck a few times, then decay into near silence. Next, you’ll hear the gong being struck a few more times, then the volume will be slowly built to a crescendo around the center of the gong, with one final strike directly in the middle that decays into silence.
