* C -8 Hz., Special 4 3/4″ diameter, Extra-Thick, circa 18th Century
* D -10 Hz., Cup 4 1/2″ diameter, Extra-Thick, circa 17th Century
* E -10 Hz., Void 4 1/4″ diameter, XX-Thick, circa 17th Century
* F -10 Hz., Special 3 7/8″ diameter, XXT, circa 19th Century
* G -10 Hz., Shabda 4 5/8″ diameter, XXT, Inscription, circa 18th century
* A -10 Hz. Cup 3 5/8″ diameter, Inscription, Extra-Thick, circa 19th Century
The rim tones for the first and second bowls are F +2 Hz. and G +10 Hz.
About the Sound Sample
First, we strike each bowl on the upper outside wall with the included 25mm Himalayan hardwood wool-padded mallet. Next, we play the fundamental tone with the leather end of the 25mm or 22mm leather-padded mallet. We also recommend using the Dragonfly small leather wand (RBI-LWS) to bring out the fundamental tones of these singing bowls.
